Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½PDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ departments. The purpose of the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½PDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ community

To provide liaison between ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½PDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½PDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
