Tolga Dizdarer is an assistant professor in the Business Analytics Department at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. His research interests are at the intersection of platform design and policy, focusing on the challenges of the gig economy model in adapting to the changing technological and regulatory landscape. His recent work studies how new technologies and associated business models influence strategic decision making in digital platforms, and the role of autonomy in the gig economy.
Professor Dizdarer received a Ph.D. in operations management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
