Kudos to 2018 Rappaport Center Fellow,听Siri听Nelson, for assisting Kohn, Kohn, and Colapinto on an amicus brief urging the Supreme Court of the United States to grant certiorari in听Butler v. Board of County Commissioners for San Miguel County. The issue in听Butler听deals with the First Amendment right to testify in court proceedings.听The amicus argues, 鈥淭he well-established purpose and design of the Civil Rights Act of 1871 was to ensure that all people had access to all courts without fear.鈥�
Nelson was recently awarded the prestigious听Estelle S. Kohn Memorial Fellowship听by Northeastern University School of Law which allows her to work as a whistleblower litigation fellow with Kohn, Kohn and Colapinto.听
