The McMenamin Lab is actively recruiting highly qualified candidates at all levels! The聽Biology Department聽at Boston College supports many NIH-and NSF-funded research labs with expertise in cell and developmental biology, microbiology and immunobiology, and bioinformatics. The Department offers state-of-the-art research laboratories and core facilities. We encourage applications from women, BIPoC researchers, LGBTQ individuals, and people from disadvantaged or non-traditional backgrounds.
We are actively recruiting postdocs聽interested in using molecular, developmental and bioinformatic methods to answer questions about hormonal regulation of skeletal patterning, morphogenesis聽 and regeneration.
In particular, we are recruiting postdocs聽interested in advancing:
- Gene knockdown in regenerating tissues
- Single cell RNA-seq聽
- ATAC-seq and other epigenetic techniques
