- Baker Hughes has announced the release of its , providing an expanded view of the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and outlining its corporate strategy and commitments for a sustainable energy future.
- Fifth Third Bank has published its , highlighting its commitment to doing well by doing good. The 2020 report further describes actions taken to generate long-term sustainable value for all Fifth Third stakeholders, and follows Fifth Third’s inaugural report, published in September 2020.
Alliance Data has announced an ongoing , the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. Through this partnership, Alliance Data’s donation will support Alliance Data’s PRIDE Alliance Business Resource Group, the partnership will allow employees to engage with and support The Trevor Project throughout the year through numerous volunteer and educational opportunities.
Fidelity Investments has expanded its sustainable investing lineup with available June 17, 2021. With the addition of these new funds, Fidelity will offer investors and advisors 11 ESG mutual funds and equity exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Fidelity’s new equity funds will seek to invest in high-quality companies that are addressing climate change via corporate strategy or through products and services, prioritizing and advancing women’s leadership and development, or that have proven or improving sustainability practices.
Umpqua Bank announced that the Umpqua Bank Charitable Foundation has awarded to local nonprofits across its five-state footprint totaling $423,500. Nonprofits were selected from hundreds of applicants who demonstrated a strong commitment to serving their communities, particularly those focused on reaching low-to-moderate income or under-resourced populations.
