罢丑别听General Directory for Catechesis聽states that the primary purpose of catechesis is "to put people in communion and intimacy with Jesus Christ." 聽Of course, the primordial catechetical means of such encounter is through the Gospels. 聽But how does one teach the Scriptures in such a way that students come to a personal relationship with Jesus, that beyond 鈥渓earning about鈥� Jesus they also come to embrace his call to discipleship? 聽This presentation proposes such a pedagogy of encounter and commitment.
