In this inaugural lecture, STM alum James Martin, S.J., editor at large for聽America聽magazine, reflects on his theological education and formation, how it has impacted his ministry, and what he sees as the most pressing needs for ministry in the world today.聽 He offers a vision of ministry that is at once grounded in reality, and hopeful for accomplishing the work of the Gospel, informed by the example of Daniel J. Harrington, S.J. and Fr. Martin's own experiences.
